Description

The module aims to give students a thorough knowledge and understanding of the principles of the Finite Element Method for a range of real life engineering problems covering dynamics analysis, non-linear analysis for contact, material behaviour and large deformation and the modelling of crack development in structures. The module also aims to introduce students to the principle of the latest developments with the simulation technique.
